The National Accreditation Authority started the process, which resulting that it can serve the concerned organisations as the full member of the EA.
Part of this process NAH submits its application for EA (European Co-operation for Accreditation) membership on 11 February 2016 and will submit the documents necessary for the EA MLA signatory status until 22 February 2016.
On 16 February 2016, the leaders of the NAH and the delegates of the concerned ministries and the Hungarian Ambassador in Brussels held a meeting with the responsible leader of the EU Internal Market, Kerstin Jorna and the representative of the EA, dr. Andreas Steinhorst. On this meeting the participants agreed that the process of the NAH EA assessment should be sped up, judged in an extraordinary process as soon as possible.
The hungarian delegacy emphatically calls the EU’s attention that the decisions and accrediations issued earlier by the NAT shall be considered valid until the date marked on them, as every other approach harms EU basic rights and risks legal certainty and asked EA to reconsider its standpoint, and to amend of its announcement appeared on its website.
