On 1 January, 2018, Act CL of 2016 on General Public Administration Procedures entered into force replacing Act CXL of 2004 on the General Rules of Administrative Proceedings and Services.
This new act also modifies the Act CXXIV on National Accreditation and the Government Decree 424/2015 (XII.23) on the National Accreditation Authority and the Accreditation Procedure.
The changes shall be applied to procedures with the applications submitted after 1 January 2018. Due to the changing legislation, the process of accreditation and surveillance procedures of the Authority is also modified. The new process is demonstrated with a new, updated flowchart. The English version will be published later.
It is a significant change that during the accreditation procedure instead of the 2 x 30 days available for corrective actions after the document revision’s and the on-site assessment ‘s phase now there are only 30 days available for corrective actions.
This relevant change is handled according to the aforementioned flowchart.
All changes will also be included in the new NAR-01 regulation.
