The EA 40th General Assembly held in Berlin on 22nd and 23rd November offered a great opportunity for the Director General of NAH and the Acting Director General of AZAK to discuss the details of cooperation in the field of accreditation between Hungary and Azerbaijan and to sign the Memorandum of Understanding as a base for the common work.
The aim of this cooperation is to facilitate and develop trading and economic relations between Hungary and Azerbaijan through the reduction of technical barriers to trade. This could be achieved with the common work in those areas determined in the MoU singed on 22nd November:
• exchange of information and good practices in connection with the accreditation of conformity assessment bodies
• to cooperate in matters relating to training and professional development of accreditation personnel
• to exchange experience in implementing international standards in the field of accreditation;
• to identify other economic areas of mutual interest in order to develop the bilateral trade relations between the two countries
