The UN organisation sets out to protect Earth with accrediting

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) published a paper that sets accredited conformity assessment services in the centre of its inquiry regarding the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The brochure sets 17 Sustainable Development Goals with 169 associated targets that constitute the core of the agenda. They provide a new development framework that seeks to transform the world and guide all global, regional and national development endeavours for the next 15 years – writes the ILAC on its home page. The programmatic approach is guided by three interrelated thematic priorities: creating shared prosperity, advancing economic competitiveness and safeguarding the environment.

The paper can be reached in more detail under the link.
